While the book was doing great business in the world of libraries, the COVID-19 virus has shut them down for a while. It’s cool seeing people borrow your book and wondering if you’re helping someone get through a tough time. Just a reminder in case anything happens with the mail system that you can always get an electronic version of the book. I appreciate everyone’s purchase and if you haven’t, please consider buying yourself a copy at This Link.

Would you like to read an unbiased opinion on the book, either check out the glowing reviews on Amazon, or look at this blog: Review from Mental Health @ Home

First Book New CoverMy first book, a memoir about my decent into porn addiction, The Addiction Nobody Will Talk About: How I Let My Pornography Addiction Hurt People and Destroy Relationships is available on Amazon with a new chapter that was added in late 2019. If you’d like to learn about how somebody ends up where I did, this is my recollection of events that led to my eventual rock bottom. Link to the Book on Amazon

Corona Front GraphicI Confirmed It: Porn Companies Doing Big Business, Recruitment During ‘Social Distancing’ When Donald Trump went on TV that Wednesday night in early March as one of the last people to admit what many of us had come to recognize in the previous 72 hours – the Coronavirus was the real deal – one of my first thoughts went to how this was going to be the single greatest boon to the pornography industry since the invention of the Internet. We’re still in it – probably not even at the halfway point – and it turns out, I was unfortunately correct. Click Here

There are a lot of men and women in this world whose COVID-19 idle hands are likely turning them to online pornography. Not all will end up as addicts, but some probably will who never would have otherwise. Click Here

I see these yahoo 22-year-olds on the beach in Florida, screaming “Coronavirus come and get me! Nothing’s gonna stop my partying!” while ironically holding a Corona beer in their hand on TV. I have to admit, at 22, I probably would have been that yahoo. Click Here

Screen Shot 2020-03-17 at 8.48.56 AMAs Prepared as I’m Ever Going to Be I finally made it to the grocery store this morning. I usually don’t do the shopping because I get everything wrong. (Apparently salted butter is a good thing. I figured unsalted was better.) But, with my daughter home from college and my son home from high school, I’m making their breakfast and lunches. Screen Shot 2020-02-25 at 4.05.00 PMSorry Parents, You Can’t Porn-Proof Your Kids in 2020 My parents raised me to think that one sip of beer would lead me, minutes later, to the destitute life of a wino, laying in the gutter, hiccupping while holding a bottle like an alcoholic cat out of a Bugs Bunny cartoon. I was also told smoking cigarettes was gross and would give me almost immediate lung cancer. Marijuana would kill me. Pornography would turn me into a Peeping Tom pervert before the day was done and gambling was something only done by degenerate mobsters. Needless to say, I tried them all. Click Here

Screen Shot 2020-02-23 at 3.15.30 PMHealthy Sexuality is Very Different from Total Abstinence and Self Denial I realize that one of the things I don’t talk enough about on this site is what healthy sexuality looks like. I try very hard not to be an anti-porn crusader because I think it’s a waste of time, flies in the face of my beliefs surrounding personal freedoms (for both producers and consumers) and it’s ultimately not the way that we get a handle on porn addiction in this world.
